About

Hello, I'm Carol — and this is Sew Carly x.

Every shop has a beginning. Mine started with a single sale — a moment so small and so enormous at the same time that I wrote about it in my very first blog post. That sale told me something I needed to hear: that people care about things made with intention. And that's exactly what Sew Carly x is built on.

Why I Started

I've always believed that what we choose to buy says something about who we are. I wanted to create a space where bold design and genuine values live side by side — where you can pick up something beautiful and know that it was made with care, by hands that were fairly paid, from materials that didn't cost the earth.

Sew Carly x grew out of that belief. It's a small, independent shop — just me — and I love it that way. Every decision, every product, every stitch of the brand is something I've thought about and chosen on purpose.

What We Stand For

Sustainability isn't a trend here — it's the foundation. Our Namaste range is made by skilled artisan communities in India and Vietnam, using materials that give new life to what already exists: recycled cotton, reclaimed sari fabric, recycled tyres, and coconut shells. Every piece supports fair wages and ethical working conditions for the makers behind it.

Our own Sew Carly x tote bags are hand-printed in small batches — bold, colour-forward, and made to be noticed. And the TOKEII KNIT STUDIO pieces bring a different kind of handmade magic: chunky, tactile, knitted bags that are as much art as accessory.

Small Batch, Big Heart

Nothing here is mass-produced. These are small-batch, handmade pieces — which means when something sells out, it's often gone. It also means that what you're holding has been touched by real people who took pride in making it.

That matters to me. I hope it matters to you too.
